Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently engaged Wazza’s Pools for a full pool renovation, following demolition of a property for rebuild, and could not be happier with the result. From the initial consultation where we needed to determine the extent of works needed, through to completion the service was professional, reliable, and genuine.

Warren recommended the particular waterline tiles we used ,which have been the absolute best choice with matching the house and surrounding landscaping, and the glass pebbecrete makes the pool look like you're on holiday every day, it has completely transformed the look of the pool. They also upgraded the lighting, replaced all pumping pipework, arranged the pressure testing, and installed new equipment, including lighting with a remote control - everything was handled seamlessly.

Communication was great, timelines were met (he actually brought ours forward to suit our landscaping timing) and the workmanship is outstanding. The team was respectful of our property and left the site clean and tidy each day.

If you’re considering a pool renovation, we highly recommend Wazza’s Pools for their quality work, honest advice, and smooth experience from start to finish.

They were punctual, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Warrick was always available to answer our calls with any questions we had, we knew we were in good hands. Our pool renovation came with its fair share of challenges, but Warrick’s team handled every obstacle with professionalism and creativity, always finding effective solutions along the way. The final result exceeded all of our expectations and the pool and surrounding area looks amazing! Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Many thanks Wazza's pools. My back yard has been transformed into a beautiful and more importantly a very serviceable living area. The pool is 3x5mts as the yard is very small but it works perfectly and looks beautiful. The glass finish is just lovely and very crisp looking and even more beautiful at night under lights. Would recommend Wazza to anyone wanting a pool.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wazza recently finished a complete renovation/refurbishment of our 30 year old pool - new coping, waterline tiles and pebblecrete. He was accurate with his quoting, work was completed on time as specified and he kept us in the loop from beginning to end. The pool looks brand new. We would highly recommend Wazza's Pools for any new pool builds or renovations. Thanks Wazza.

6 Benefits of a Concrete Pool

Fully Customisable Design

Concrete pools give you complete freedom in shape, size, and depth. Whether you want a sleek lap pool, a plunge pool for small spaces, or a resort-style feature with curves and custom steps, concrete makes it possible.

Durability That Lasts Decades

Concrete pools are built to stand the test of time. With proper construction and maintenance, they can last 30+ years — far longer than fibreglass or vinyl alternatives — making them a smart long-term investment.

Premium Finishes and Features

From fully tiled interiors to pebblecrete and decorative waterline tiles, concrete pools offer a wide range of high-end finishes. You can also incorporate luxury features like built-in benches, tanning ledges, or infinity edges.

Seamless Integration with Landscaping

Concrete pools can be designed to suit your outdoor layout perfectly. Whether it’s matching the contours of your backyard or working around existing structures, concrete pools blend beautifully with decks, paving, and gardens.

Ideal for Sloped or Difficult Blocks

Concrete pools can be engineered to suit almost any site, including sloped or narrow lots. Where fibreglass might not work, concrete can be shaped and reinforced to fit, making it ideal for tricky Gold Coast blocks.

Increases Property Value

A well-designed concrete pool enhances your property’s resale value and street appeal. Buyers see it as a premium lifestyle feature, especially in warm climates like the Gold Coast where outdoor living is a priority.

Gold Coast Pool Construction FAQs

Do I need council approval to build a new pool on the Gold Coast?

The timeframe for building a concrete pool depends on a variety of factors, such as the size, shape, access to the site, finishes, and sometimes, the weather conditions. Generally, it takes about 12 weeks to build a concrete pool and the surrounding landscaping. For a more accurate timeline, we advise reaching out to us.
